Traditional ingredients include cured meats, olives, pepperoncini, artichokes, cheeses, and vegetables, frequently topped by a drizzle of olive oil.

- Fresh mozzarella
- Cherry tomatoes
- Store-bought olive salad with olives, artichokes, and pepperoncini
- Prosciutto slices
- Pepperoni (in the center).
